I mentioned to a friend I allways wanted a fourteen and he hooked me up, so now I have a basketcase 914, i got for the hauling off. Engine and trans removed, half the cylinders were removed by the owners son and it sat for 10+ years, I'm low on cash & am tempeded to swap in a rebuilt bus/type IV motor with carbs till I can build a worthy power plant any hints/pitfalls with this plan?
